Who are we?

The association

oikos is a non-profit association committed to sustainable development.

In a few numbers, oikos is more than 40 active members, 15 years of existence, 4 poles and 1 office, and lots of projects.

This year (2022), the flagship projects have been reorganized such as the Run & Collect , the Thrift Shop , the 0 Waste Recipes , the DIY Workshops , the Organic Baskets , the Ethical Parade

But new ones will emerge: the Ecological Christmas Market , the Ecological Challenges , the Photo Expo , the Beauty Box , the conferences and perhaps even a trip soon...

As well as without forgetting them, many partnerships!

Anyway , if you're ecological or you're not but want to improve, join us to defend our great cause and educate others about the environment.

Story

Created in 1987 in Saint-Gall in Switzerland and present since 2007 at NEOMA Business School Reims, oikos is an international association present in more than 20 countries and with 39  local offices/ local chapters

Goals

Our mission is to raise awareness without feeling guilty that we can, by changing our habits, do better to protect the planet!

It is to promote sustainable development to students but also to local residents with whom they share their living space, in order to lead them to become agents of change while preserving their “heritage” (translation of oikos in Greek).

It is to raise awareness that everyone can be an agent of change by proposing sustainable alternatives.
